TRIGGER POINT THERAPY

Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, also known as " Trigger Point Therapy ", refers to the treatment of myofascial trigger points (MTrP) that are found in muscles and fascia. Myofascial trigger points are painful, tense areas that are found in muscles. These trigger points can be the source of localised and referred pain.

DRY NEEDLING

Trigger-point dry needling is an invasive procedure where a fine needle is inserted into the skin and muscle. It is aimed at myofascial trigger points (MTrP) which are hyperirritable spots in skeletal muscle that are associated with a hypersensitive palpable nodule in a taut band.

Kinesiology Taping

SPORTS TAPING

We use either dynamic sports tape and rigid strapping tape to help support weak joints and stimulate muscle and joint proprioceptive activation. This offers stability and support during the healing process.

MYOFASCIAL CUPPING

Myofascial cupping is a soft tissue therapy that encourages healing by creating a negative pressure or suction on the skin using plastic or glass cups that pull up underlying tissues, blood, and other fluids close to the surface of the skin. It can help treat soft tissue conditions and musculoskeletal tension, pain, and common sporting injuries.

Therapeutic ultrasound is often used for treating acute inflammatory injuries and chronic pain by promoting tissue healing. This is a painless treatment modality that encourages deep warmth of the tissues and increased blood flow.
